Hi, My name is Kaitlin and I am the face behind Sweet Embrace!

Sweet Embrace was created from a place of personally experiencing the trials and tribulations of living with type 1 diabetes for 17 years—feeling overwhelmed, emotionally and physically drained, and at times, completely isolated.

​

I originally created this as an outlet for myself, as a way to release what I was feeling internally, and with the hope that it might reach even just one person who feels overwhelmed and alone in their own type 1 diabetes journey.

​Sweet Embrace is more than just a website—it’s an outlet for the diabetes community. Whether you’re living with type 1 diabetes or supporting someone who is, this is a place to turn to for love, support, inspiration, and that feeling we all need sometimes… a sweet embrace of hope and comfort.

 

My goal is to reach those who need it most and to remind every T1D warrior—and the people who stand beside them—that you are not alone. You are stronger than you think, and you are a warrior.
